What You’ll Do
- Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems, including split, package, window units, chillers, and freezers.
- Ensure 85% operational readiness of HVAC systems across the base, delivering reliable climate control in demanding conditions.
- Manage refrigerant usage, storage, and disposal, adhering to EPA and Clean Air Act regulations.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC systems while maintaining compliance with industry and USAF standards.
- Provide detailed reports on system performance and maintenance activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in HVAC operations, maintenance, and repair.
- Certification: EPA Section 608 Certified Technician (documentation required).
- Security Clearance: Active U.S. Secret Clearance and ability to maintain it.
- Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting, solving technical issues, and using Microsoft Office programs.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work outdoors in extreme conditions and maintain readiness in wartime environments.
