Description:This role is responsible for providing HR executive leadership supporting the Operations organization and leading Labor Relations in the development and execution of human resources strategy and provide leadership and direction to promote the company's critical priorities, culture, mission and values.
This individual collaborates across Space and Corporate functions to assess situations, analyze data, challenge conventional wisdom, and create new practices to ensure we hire, develop, motivate, retain and engage the talent necessary to execute the long-range business plan. They will be responsible for our Labor Relations function, union relationships and overall strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Provide executive leadership and guidance to ~20 HR professionals providing HR services to approximately 5,000 badged employees.
• Attend all Functional Strategic Planning Reviews and become completely familiar with the Business LRPs. Offer counsel to senior executives on all HR implications and potential people strategies. Collaborate proactively with HR COEs and Lines of Business to ensure alignment to all organizational needs.
• Primary support to the Space Operations and SQA.
• Run the Labor Relations function, responsible for union relationships and strategy.
Basic Qualifications:• 10 or more years of broad and progressive HR experience for various organizations, including experience leading in an HR Business Partner capacity and supporting senior leaders
• Ability to assess team and organizational health/dynamics and drive culture change
• Experience leading talent management and succession planning strategies, including long-term organization design or restructuring efforts
• Experience leading and supporting geographically dispersed HR team members and clients
• Investigation and resolution of complex employee relations and business issues
• Experience driving strategic workforce planning
• Applied project management experience
• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $127,700 - $244,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
