Description/Qualifications.
AVTECH Research Corp is looking for a mobility airlift C-17 or C-130 subject matter expert (SME). Act as Foreign Disclosure Representative (FDR) and SME regarding airlift tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), air-to-surface and air-to-air employment, and defensive systems. Must be familiar with AFTTP 3-1/3-3.C-17/C-130 publications. Duties will be to support AETTP production in a part-time 1099 contractor capacity at Nellis AFB, NV.
Minimum Requirements:
· Must have an active Secret clearance with a completed investigation within the last 6 years or be enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.
· Must have a minimum of 1,500 hours experience in tactical C-17 or C-130 aircraft as a pilot.
· Must have experience as a multi-ship flight lead in tactical C-17 or C-130 aircraft.
Required Skills:
· In-depth knowledge of military publications (Joint Publications, Air Land Sea Space Application).
· Worked in an environment which required interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature.
· Use of Adobe Office Suite (i.e., Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe FrameMaker), Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
· Outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent leadership traits, and strong oral and written communications abilities.
· Be willing to support part-time in office work of one day (8-hour period) per month and an additional 24-32 hours per week on a monthly basis (roughly 480 hours per year part-time duties).
Preferred Skills and Education:
· 1,500 hours experience in C-17 or C-130 aircraft as a pilot.
· Five-years minimum experience as an Instructor Pilot (IP) in a C-17 or C-130 aircraft.
· Experience with night vision systems, secure radios, and the latest weapons inventory.
· USAF Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) highly desired.
