Job Summary
SAS Intl. is seeking a full-time Field Service Representative (FSR) to Provide USAF Security Forces & Civil Engineering Command with Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for SAS field support of L3Harris Government-owned Communication Systems Equipment on-site various USAF base locations. The FSR will support L3Harris Equipment, on-site various CONUS and OCONUS USAF locations. FSR support includes front line customer service support, Remote Maintenance Access (RMA) coordination, spare replacement (spares quoted and contracted separately), troubleshooting and diagnostics, coordination with the OEM Hardware and Software personnel, system health and wellness, operator training, and other tasks assigned by USAF for L3Harris equipment.
The FSR's "home station" will be considered Remote, with travel to the below locations.
- 5% – Home station
- 80% travel to CONUS USAF base locations
- 15% travel to OCONUS USAF base locations

The FSR shall provide comprehensive SME technical support. The FSR shall serve as in-house SME on L3Harris Technologies, Inc., Harris Defense Communications products and systems. The FSR shall coordinate, support, and conduct technical activities (involving L3Harris Technologies, Inc., Harris Defense Communications products and systems) as required by USAF end users:
- Provide on-site FSR support at designated CONUS and OCONUS USAF locations.
- While on-site, conduct periodic Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) of Subcontractor’s Equipment in accordance with established practices by the OEM.
- While on-site, conduct periodic System Software Upgrades for Subcontractor’s Equipment as Subcontractor indicates they are available.
- Subcontractor shall support the theater or country business clearance processes for Subcontractor’s employees.
- Maintain tracking system for network disruptions and problem resolutions in order to aid in the troubleshooting process for future disruptions.
- Coordinate any separately contracted repairs of Subcontractor’s Equipment through Subcontractor’s Remote Maintenance Access (RMA) process.
- Mission planning, operational deployment and continued maintenance of waveforms on all Subcontractor Equipment supporting the core networking capabilities.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, inspect Equipment condition, and perform preventative maintenance for the Subcontractor’s Equipment.
- Assist in RMA processing of Equipment warranty and non-warranty repairs.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years recent (last 5 years) combat/operational experience supporting high-risk sensitive operations
- Previous experience managing contracts/contractors, to include interfacing with clients to ensure compliance with SOW
- Graduate of an applicable technical training school
- Experience and proficiency with Subcontractor Equipment and Microsoft Office suite
- Current DoD Secret clearance.
· Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to perform all tasks associated with L3Harris tactical communications equipment, including proprietary systems and equipment.

· Active United States Department of Defense clearance SECRET or higher
· US Citizen
