Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Training Representative / Principal Training Representative to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA
In this role, the selected candidate will assist in the administration of training programs including management workshops, running reports, assigning training, budgeting, compliance training, soft skills courses among others to help employee cultivate their skills and knowledge.
**This role may be filled at the Training Representative level or Principal Training Representative level**
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the administration of training programs including management workshops, running reports, assigning training, budgeting, compliance training, soft skills courses among others to help employee cultivate their skills and knowledge
- Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
- Have strong organizational and planning skills
- Assist with onboarding new hire program
- Assist in mapping out training plans and schedules, for corporate, functional and employee training
- Develop courseware for items or system-based trainings
- Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session and compile data
- Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Support IPT department functions in the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accuracy of employee course completion
- Assist employees with LMS related questions
- Maintain project documentation and course folders
Basic Qualifications (Training Representative):
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- A minimum of 2 years of qualifiable, related professional experience with a Bachelor’s Degree OR 0 years qualifiable, related professional experience with a Master’s degree
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
- Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Basic Qualifications (Principal Training Representative):
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- A minimum of 5 years of qualifiable, related professional experience with a Bachelor’s Degree OR 3 years qualifiable, related professional experience with a Master’s degree
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
- Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lesson and curriculum planning skills
- Ability to facilitate and communicate between other organizations
Salary Range: $67,100 - $100,700
Salary Range 2: $82,900 - $124,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
