Journeyman In-Flight Mission Specialist/Analyst:
Job Responsibilities:
This position provides support for CNO Project K-0416 (Beartrap/Airborne Anti-Submarine Warfare Intelligence (AAI)) efforts to include conducting recurring standardized aircrew training, project analysis, post mission data reviews, and data collection system operation. Tasks may include delivering AAI technical and tactical training, evaluating aircrew operations and performance, providing training feedback, performing post-flight reconstruction and analysis, conducting full spectrum analysis of collected data sets, providing input on current and future collection systems, and supporting AAI operations. Additional responsibilities involve acquiring a Civilian Project Specialist designation to support inflight intelligence data collection missions and training events. May be tasked to perform additional duties on an as-needed basis. Pay is based on experience. Position is located at NAS Sigonella, Italy. Requisition ESI0116.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Requires AA/AS degree and eight (8) years of experience with CNO Project K-0416 Beartrap/AAI providing engineering management and supervision of multiple projects in the AAI community; OR a HS diploma and ten (10) years of AAI experience.
· Must be a U.S. citizen and havean active DoD Top Secret-level security clearance.
· Must be able to obtain/maintain qualification for flight onboard naval aircraft.
· Military veterans with P-3C Orion/P-8A Poseidon acoustic AW/AWO experience are highly desired.
