Responsibilities
- Updates training data in Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS) or future equivalent systems to GTIMS, and locally developed computer database systems as required.
- Interfaces with Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) and Squadron Aviation Resource Management (SARM) personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) or future equivalent systems to ARMS as required.
- Builds, reviews, and updates student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per the applicable Air Force Instructions (AFI) (i.e., AFI 11-202V1 and AFI 11-2MDS-V1), associated major command (MAJCOM) Installation supplements, and locally developed guidance. Number of records will vary depending on unit manning/student throughput.
- Coordinates scheduling of classes and exams as required. Coordinate with scheduling and external agencies (Security Forces Squadron (SFS)/ Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM), Civil Engineer Squadrons/Emergency Managers, Operations Support Squadrons (OSS), etc.) to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for Crew Resource Management (CRM), Instructor Crew Resource Management (ICRM), Instrument Refresher Course (IRC), and all other grounding or pre-deployment training requirements. Number of classes/exams will vary depending on unit manning/student throughput.
- Performs individual gradebook checks of squadron personnel operational and ancillary training requirements. Gradebook checks are performed daily, monthly, and quarterly.
- In coordination with the Squadron Director of Training (DOT) Flight Chief, prepares and executes periodic training/testing plans for approval and scheduling. Coordinates off-site training conferences/seminar attendance.
- In coordination with the Squadron DOT Flight Chief, schedules members for required ground training events IAW unit policies.
- In coordination with the Squadron DOT Flight Chief, provides weekly updates to squadron leadership containing the flight and readiness status of personnel to facilitate tracking of duty status and performance report/decoration accomplishment.
- In coordination with the Squadron DOT Flight Chief, coordinate with scheduling office, enabling them to maximize training opportunities IAW unit leadership guidance. Scheduling and training will be consistent with AFIs.
- Provides daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the unit Operations Supervisor (or equivalent), as well as weekly summaries for the Operations Officer.
- Under the guidance and direction of the Squadron DOT Flight Chief, assists in the development of new curricula and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
- Generates the following reports/forms as needed to assist with support sqaudron operations:
- Monthly and quarterly inputs to Operational Support Team (OST) for each quarter’s training requirements.
- AF Form 2096, Classification/On-the-Job Training Action.
- Monthly and semi-annual non-mission-ready (NMR) letters for members to be placed in NMR status IAW 11-2C-XXXv1.
- Monthly Squadron Training Review Panel (STRP) briefings for Squadron leadership to include training recommendations and status of training on unit members.
- Generates Proration Consideration Reports.
Qualifications
- Experience as a USAF aircrew member, or;
- Experience working in a USAF Squadron, Group, or Wing training program, or;
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) Flying Squadron, Group, or Wing training program, or;
- Experience as a DoD flying unit scheduler.
- Experience working with GTIMS or similar proprietary training documentation program preferred.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Must have excellent written, verbal communication and customer relations skills.
- Must have an active Secret Security Clearance
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED

- AFSC – 1C0XX, 1XXX—Operations; 1A0X1—Boom Operator, 1A1X1—Flight Engineer, 1A6X1—Flight Attendant and 1A2X1—Loadmaster
