What You Will Be Doing What You Will Be Doing As a General Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, lawn maintenance, and plumbing activities. You will also operate gardening and grounds care equipment as required and perform operator maintenance on all equipment.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Escort approved visitors throughout the facility
- Perform general maintenance of buildings and equipment
- Operate gardening and grounds care equipment as required
- Perform operator maintenance on all equipment used in the follow through of duties
- Assist with equipment turn-in and hand receipt maintenance, as required
- Work flexible hours as required by the customer, including weekends and holidays
- Work overtime as required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications: Experience performing general maintenance of buildings and equipment.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions up to 75% of the workday.
Must be able to climb ladders potentially as high as a two-story building.
Be available to work flexible hours as required by the customer including weekends and holidays.
Be available to work overtime as required.
Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance, and must have an Interim Secret clearance prior to start so therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills: Be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
