SUMMARY
The Construction Team Member will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks and some basic non-physical labor tasks in support of project managers and other construction department staff.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists project managers and other construction staff as assigned. This may include jobs such as demolition, carrying supplies, job site cleanup, job site organization, etc.
- Unloads materials and distributes them to appropriate location as identified by project managers, project plans, or specifications.
- Helps prepare layout area of construction area; e.g., taking measurements, marking, etc.
- Prepares tools, materials, supplies for project managers and other construction staff.
- Assists project managers and other construction staff with various project tasks, which may include assisting with basic documentation, basic interaction with subcontractors, or helping procure materials to meet project deliverables/goals.
- Cleans and prepares specific areas of jobsites as assigned. This may include cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash; or removing hazardous materials.
- Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.
- Upholds compliance with all project safety policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 10-year TSA criminal background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Colorado driver’s license
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Position is based at Denver International Airport (DEN). DEN is a climate-controlled environment and the temperature, volume of noise, and exposure to the public is outside the control of First Meridian Services, Inc. Use of public spaces as provided by the airport will be required when working at DEN.
Position may require evening, weekend, or holiday work. Prolonged periods of standing or walking, with ability to comfortably climb ladders and stairs. Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas. Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time. Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Pay Range $25.00 - $35.00/hour
