THE WORKSikorsky is seeking to hire a full time Reliability and Maintainability Engineer to support R&M activities for various Aircraft programs across the company.
In this role, you will:- Perform R&M predictions and fleet data analysis, Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Trees Analysis (FTA), failure analysis, and corrective action (FRACAS).
- Develop, conduct, and coordinate R&M plans and procedures to include conducting technical studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts.
- Propose changes in design or formulation to improve R&M performance.
- Support of design reviews and test activities as required.
- Support proposal writing activities.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
Experience with aviation (helicopter or fixed wing) or ground-based vehicle systems design, integration and test. Also acceptable is experience in System Engineering, Attributes, Safety/Specialty Engineering or Test Engineering.
Experience with Reliability Analysis or data analytics a plus.
Desired Skills:- Degree in an engineering focused discipline
- Experience performing R&M predictions, Failure analysis experience (FRACAS) and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) or similar.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations to peers as well as management
- Experience with PTC Windchill WQS or Reliasoft analysis tools a plus
- Experience with statistical concepts and analysis
- Engineering background with good electrical / mechanical understanding; practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting
- Aviation maintenance (civil/military) or operations experience a plus

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
