SUMMARY: The Supply Chain/Warehouse Technicians are an integral part of our Supply Chain and Maintenance team. Their experience, practical knowledge, creativity, and problem solving skills will ensure that the aircraft are maintained in an airworthy and dispatch ready status at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with ITAR requirements.
- Maintains tool and part distribution customer service desk IAW company policies. Implements tool control policies.
- Verifies items received by checking and identifying information of items; inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list as well as verifying proper FAA required documentation.
- Utilizing software, performing cycle counts, and recording physical inventory and outbound shipments.
- Receive all incoming material, both physically and systematically.
- Maintains inventory by marking and placing items in stock; establishing inventory reorder points; reporting items to be reordered.
- Documents inventory by recording additions, disbursements, adjustments, and removals of items, physically and systematically.
- Fills parts requests by issuing/delivering items.
- Move non-allocated material to stock - physically and systematically.
- Prepares reports/logs by collecting and analyzing information on stock usage, core returns, unused parts, and out of box failures.
- Prepares parts and cores for shipment daily and logs all information in required areas.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Works in compliance with all applicable Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) acts and regulations.
- Follows safe work practices and procedures and using safeguards and personal protective equipment, as necessary and when required.
- Reports any hazards or potential safety risks (such as unsafe situations and activities) to a supervisor immediately.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
SKILLS AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook).

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree preferred
- Or at least 3 years work experience in Logistics
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and access aircraft via ladders and boarding air stairs.
- Must be able to access confined aircraft spaces.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (High Visibility clothing, Ear protection, safety glasses) when required.
