Description
BlueForce, Inc. is seeking Military Senior Advisors to provide strategic advisory support to a variety of national and international stakeholders. This position requires deployment to Sub-Saharan Africa.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advisory support to either the Host Nation, Regional Organization, or International Organization personnel, as specified by the Task Order, working in one or more specialized disciplines.
- Assist senior members of the specified Host Nation/Regional or International Organization in accomplishing their objectives related to the specified specialized discipline, with the ultimate objective of ensuring the end user is capable of accomplishing tasks without external support.
- Provide expert-level advice, analysis, and recommend courses of action to the Host Nation/Regional or International Organization personnel.
- Consult with the U.S. Embassy country team to ensure relevancy on all current U.S. Government policy guidance concerning the Host Nation/Regional or International Organization.
- Coordinate with members of the U.S. interagency present at Post to ensure that all U.S. Government program activities related to the specialized discipline(s) are coordinated and support overall U.S. objectives.
- Make recommendations for sustainable improvement to the country team and Program Office.
- Accompany and travel with Host Nation, Regional or International Organization, and/or relevant State Department personnel to international conferences and coordinate meetings related to specialized efforts in the Host Nation or Regional or International Organization, as requested by the Host Nation/Regional or International Organization, and approved by the COR.
- Submit monthly progress reports, which will include a Performance Monitoring Framework and Work Plan.

Senior Advisor Level 2
Advisory services may include the following areas of expertise: combat training, military justice, military intelligence, force development, military education, counterinsurgency, cease-fire monitoring, doctrine development, military staff.
Overall Minimum Qualifications
- Must have reached, at a minimum, the rank of O-5 in the military or equivalent (i.e., FS-02/GS-14) in a civilian capacity.
- Experience working with senior foreign military officials and/or senior foreign government officials.
- Fluent English language speaking and writing ability.
- Demonstrated knowledge with all relevant State and interagency guidance regarding U.S. objectives. At a minimum, with the following documents:
- National Security Strategy (NSS).
- State-USAID Joint Strategic Plan (JSP).
- National Defense Strategy (NDS).
- Integrated Country Strategy (ICS).
- State/PM’s Functional Bureau Strategy (FBS).
- DoD’s Joint Strategic Campaign Plan.
- DoD’s Regional Combatant Command Theater Campaign Plan and Contingency Plans.
- DoD Country-level Plans.
- Foreign language requirements may apply once contract is awarded.
- Medical requirements may apply once contract is awarded.
- Citizenship requirements may apply once contract is awarded.
- Security clearance requirements may apply once contract is awarded.
