BlueForce, Inc. is seeking for Vetting Advisors to provide professional services and subject matter expertise, CONUS and OCONUS, in support of the US Department of State (DoS) Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Program.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting USG human rights vetting of individuals receiving US assistance.
- Attend working level interagency meetings to review difficult cases.
- Raise problematic issues to senior levels as necessary.
- Aid in responding to inquiries from posts in other regions of the world on the Leahy legislation and its amendments.
- Aid in the decision-making process to amend vetting procedures and regulations and update standard operation procedures.
- Assist in monitoring incoming vetting wires and conduct required checks on those unit(s) or individual(s) to receive US assistance. When derogatory information surfaces, verify information through appropriate channels to make a final determination on such unit(s) or individual(s).
- Aid in coordinating clearances with appropriate DoS bureaus and embassies involved in the vetting process.
- Aid in drafting information, briefing memoranda, and correspondence for management.
Qualifications
Qualifications
• For a position in the U.S., candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or legal U.S. resident. Secret, Top Secret, or public trust certification will be required.
• For a position outside the U.S., any citizenship (U.S., Third Country National (TCN), and Local National (LN)) is allowable. Security clearance or public trust certification will be required for US nationals and RSO vetting for TCN and LN.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in international affairs, human rights, or other relevant field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and conducting internet research.
• Excellent oral communication and writing skills to include drafting of action and info memos, congressional testimony, press guidance and congressional and general correspondence.
